Jacob Krogsgaard-Søndberg is one of our excellent, high-performing IT consultants, who yet again showed his true dedication in a recent project in his role as the Program Manager aiming towards integrating an acquired company and thereby gaining important business synergies.
The program consisted of transport management system implementation, systems integration, new development, and business change management. It also includes close go-live alignment with infrastructure and ERP rollouts. Jacob managed the IT implementation and development teams in collaboration with business leaders from our client. This collaboration was essential to ensure that the client's systems supported the acquired company's business model, and that the existing standard functionality of our client was applied to the extent possible.
The program has strategic importance for our client, and Jacob played an important role. Besides the above-mentioned responsibility areas, Jacob managed the IT integration from the start. He established the execution program with the client's IT and local stakeholders. This included the definition of a program roadmap, onboarding of +50 program participants, and three go-lives with +400 users in 8 countries. The go-live organization achieved the highest digital adoption across the client in three strategically important areas. Furthermore, the program has been our client's fastest transport management implementation at a small local branch. The go-live was complex, yet it was managed without impacting customer service.
The CIO has put some words on his appreciation of Jacob's efforts and performance: "Jacob started with us in 2021, where he was given the program responsibility for a large and complex integration project. With his calm and structured approach, Jacob has aimed to create a good plan for the project and ensure that the steering committee and other stakeholders have been well informed about the plan and risks. The first milestone in the project was reached in October last year when we went live with the first part of the integration project. This go-live was a great success that clearly showed the value of the preparation and test work Jacob had ensured as part of the project. Jacob managed to both create the overall overview and at the same time be sufficiently down in the details to be able to ensure the management of a complex project with many stakeholders."
